2007: We contributed S$30,000 to the Wildlife Conservation Singapore Fund (managed by the Singapore Zoological Gardens) to advance the research, development and application of TCM in animal veterinary.

2003- 2004: Eu Yan Sang sponsored the research and publication of “An Illustrated Chinese Materia Medica in Hong Kong” by the School of Chinese Medicine, Hong Kong Baptist University. This was a benchmark volume of the Chinese Materia Medica, commonly used in Hong Kong. It also prescribes a standard to further educate and nurture more professionals for the TCM industry. The book is available in English and Traditional Chinese.

2000: We sponsored the HK$10 million Bak Foong Pills Bio-active Research and Clinical Research by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. This 3-year scientific research investigated the pharmacological actions and bio-active ingredients of Bak Foong Pills. Based on a century-old traditional formula, Bak Foong Pills are Eu Yan Sang’s flagship product. Findings from this extensive research subsequently led to the development of a new TCM formula - Menoease - in 2002, for the treatment of postmenopausal syndrome. Menoease restores estrogen production and the body’s natural balance. It also maintains health and youth after menopause.
