Manufacturing

We find nature’s best plants and process them in the best TCM plants

Our consumers deserve the very best. And Eu Yan Sang is committed to providing products of the highest possible quality. We achieve this by employing comprehensive quality assurance procedures, and carrying out stringent quality controls at every stage of the manufacturing process.

Manufacturing

Eu Yan Sang sources our herbs only from reliable and reputable suppliers with GAP (Good Agriculture Practice) certification. This ensures the authenticity and quality of the raw herbs.

These herbs are subject to scientific tests before being processed in Eu Yan Sang's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)-certified factories in Hong Kong and Malaysia. Every process we undertake demonstrates full GMP accreditation, for unmatched quality assurance. At all stages - from the harvesting to the manufacturing process - the emphasis is on quality to ensure the efficacy and more importantly, safety of its products.

Eu Yan Sang Centre – GMP Plant in Hong Kong Weng Li Sdn. Bhd. – GMP Plant in Malaysia

In November 2006, we have invested more than HK$110 million into this 130,000 sq ft modern manufacturing plant. It is the first TCM facility in Hong Kong that has been awarded a GMP-certification and accredited under ISO 9001:2008. It houses one of the region’s largest TCM Fingerprinting Centre, and herb extraction and concentration facilities. It serves as the research and development, quality assurance and logistics centre for our global TCM operations. It also facilitates scientific inspection of common Chinese herbs, and all of our Chinese Proprietary Medicines.
