Recipes for the Eyes
In the TCM context, the eyes are generally nourished by all the internal organs; therefore, most eye conditions are a reflection of your overall state of health. The two most important organs governing the health of the eyes are the Liver and Kidneys.

Vision Improving Eggs

Ingredients:

| Shouwu |
20g |
| Polygonatum root |
15g |
| Privet berries |
15g |
| Eclipta leaves |
15g |
| Eggs |
2 |
| Rock sugar |
Add to taste |
| Water |
3 rice bowl (600ml) |

|
Instructions:
|
1. Hard boil the 2 eggs and remove the shells. 2. Simmer all the herbs in 3 rice bowls of water until one and a half bowl remain (300ml). Discard the herbal dregs and add the cooked eggs and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes. Add rock sugar to taste. 4. Add salt to taste. |

Shouwu nourished th blood, Polygonatum root nourishes the Qi, Privet berries and Eclipta leaves nourish the nutritive fluids (Yin) and chicken eggs nourish the Yin and boost the Yang of the body. |
