HSBC Trustee (Hong Kong) Limited (“HTHK”), as trustee of 2 trusts, holds the Company shares by itself and also via Bestand Development Corporation which HTHK is its immediate sole shareholder.
As HTHK is owned by HSBC International Trustee Limited (“HKIT”), HKIT is thus deemed to have an indirect interest in the Company shares.
As a result of a transfer by HSBC Bank Bermuda Limited of all its shares in HKIT to HSBC Private Banking Holdings (Suisse) SA (“HPBH”), HSBC Holdings plc is deemed to have an indirect interest in the shares of the Company.
HPBH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HSBC Europe (Netherlands) BV, which is substantially owned (94.9%) by HSBC Bank plc which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc.
