CLARIFICATION ON AN ARTICLE IN THE BUSINESS TIMES DATED 18 FEBRUARY 2009
The Board of Directors of Eu Yan Sang International Ltd (the "Company") wishes to clarify on an article in The Business Times dated 18 February 2009 entitled "Eu Yan Sang sees zero profit growth".
Mr Richard Eu, in an interview to Reuters, had referred to a flat growth of the Company, in view of the current economic recession. In his statement, Mr Richard Eu referred to the growth of the Company being expected to be flat and no inference was made to the profits of the Company.
